Distribution Day & The Girls are Back in School!
Distribution Day
School supplies distribution is always one of our favorite times of the year! Depending on where they live, the girls come to the Kurandza office or their school to pick up everything they’ll need for success in the classroom. Year after year, the smiles on their faces are priceless and remind us why we do what we do.
Many parents in rural Mozambique aren’t able to send their daughters to school because they cannot afford these expenses. With scholarships covering school supplies, uniforms, backpacks, and school fees, Kurandza students gain access to life-changing education.

Beyond the classroom, Quel finds joy in dancing and singing, activities that light up her world. She aspires to become a teacher in the future.
Meet Sabina
She is 17-years-old and in the 8th grade. Her favorite subject is Portuguese and this year she’s excited to learn more about mathematics and literature. She finds solace in books and aspires to become a teacher to inspire young minds. Her ambition and drive promise a future of endless possibilities.
