Marketing

Social Media Marketing & Engagement Intern

We’re looking for an enthusiastic intern to help oversee Kurandza’s social media platforms. You will have the opportunity to use your creativity, grow your skills and build your portfolio while creating real impact for girls and women in Mozambique. You will learn about online engagement and how to use social media to build a community of supporters. You will also learn to manage a content calendar and implement communications strategy across social media platforms.

Location: Remote USA

Time Commitment: 5-10 hours/week

Fundraising

Development & Strategic Partnerships Intern

Work alongside the Kurandza team and gain real life experience as part of an NGO impacting the lives of over 250 girls and women in Mozambique. Oversee the Learning Center project, reaching out to brands, churches, schools, and/or individuals to create strategic partnerships and fundraise to bring this new learning center to life. You will learn to research funding opportunities, create proposals and write grants. You will also have the opportunity to be mentored on launching fundraising campaigns and donor stewardship.

Location: Remote USA or local Northbay, California

Time Commitment: 5-10 hours/week

Creative

Graphic Design & Content Creation Intern

You will be working closely with Kurandza’s Creative Director to create graphics and engaging social media content to inspire people to join our mission of empowering girls and women around the world. Hone your design skills and build your portfolio while learning about branding and engaging content creation including videos and reels.

Location: Remote USA

Time Commitment: 5-10 hours/week

Writing

Communications Intern

Oversee Kurandza’s communications including managing and writing our blog posts, emails, website pages, and messaging for printed materials. Learn to write with purpose and use storytelling to bring people alongside the Kurandza mission to empower women and girls around the world. You will also have the opportunity to learn more about fundraising messaging. A big component of this position is to find creative ways to share Kurandza’s impact with our community.

Location: Remote USA or local Northbay, California
