Send a girl to school and empower her for life!

You can change the future of girls in Mozambique with a donation of holistic education and skills-training courses.

When you educate a girl, you change her life forever.

14-years-old is the typical age when most girls living in remote areas of Mozambique stop going to school. Their families need more support around their house and farm, and don’t believe education is worth investing in.

But we know what happens when they don’t go to school.

Without an education, girls and young women are increasingly likely to be trafficked, turn to prostitution for survival or become child brides.

HOW YOUR DONATION MAKES A DIFFERENCE:

  • She will avoid becoming a child bride, turning to prostitution or being trafficked.

  • She will earn a higher income and invest it back into the wellbeing of her family.

  • She will send her own daughters to school, breaking the generational cycle of poverty.

  • She will drive economic development in her local area, uplifting her entire community.

With a quality education, starting in childhood, girls are empowered with the tools they need for the rest of her lives.

Will you help girls have the tools and resources they need to reach their dreams?

Your donation will give girls access to holistic education by providing scholarships and skills training courses to the girls. You will also provide their parents with financial literacy, entrepreneurial support and access to build self-reliance.

Investing in girls’ education is needed now more than ever. Not only will your gift ensure one of our girls stays in school, it’s also an investment into her future breaking the generational cycle of poverty. And change her life forever.

Your donation will equip girls with the skills they need to succeed now and in the future!

Right now, we depend on your generosity to educate, equip and empower 250 vulnerable girls.

Your donation will help fund the expansion of our holistic programs, which will now include:

  • Our Founder, Elisabetta, spent three years with the Peace Corps in Mozambique where she met women from the local community with whom she forged strong ties.

We focus on this small region where our founder and local staff have expertise so that we can make a meaningful impact.

  • Yes, we’re a registered 501C(3) charity. All donations receive a tax receipt.

You can donate securely through our online donation page.

If you have any questions about your donation, or would like to make a special investment, please contact us.

  • We currently have 250 girls in the program and 5 boys.

Because girls in our villages are not given the same opportunity to go to school as boys, we're trying to bridge that gap and give as many girls the opportunity to get an education as possible.

Our focus is on girls, but we're passionate about ensuring all children can access quality education.

When we have extra funding, we help vulnerable and orphaned boys who wouldn't have the opportunity to go to school if it weren't for donors like you.
